| Thanksgiving was a real hoot this year! I hope your's was as memorable as mine, but it's really not about the good times anyways. I went to my girlfriend's grandmas house and boy was she a lot of fun, and then we went to my house and hung out for a while. I don't know how much all of you are like your families, but I've just noticed how I've kind of taken on a totally different personality than mine somehow. You would think that with all that time spent around them as a child that you would automatically adapt to their personalities and manerisms, but in some cases it's the opposite. Maybe that's the way it's supposed to be, but for us independents, we have to be an individual and in order to do that we have to become the opposite of our family. I love them to death though, and I love getting the chance to spend time with them around the holidays. I'm very thankful to have such a great family and I hope all of you do too, but if you don't I'd like to give you a hug and make up for it. I hope everything is going well for all of you! As for me, all my dreams are coming true and my life is magically turning into a fairytale filled with whimsy and magically seahorses. lol. God bless. -Matt | | |
| Time has really been flying lately! I don't know about you guys, but it already feels like Christmas to me, which is quite a contrast to the last couple years where it never felt like Christmas. I'm actually enjoying the flurries and it's a really happy time of year. I'm actually in Minnesota right now, where it was a chilling 12 degrees yesterday! We're going to the Mall of America today and I'm super psyched for that! Shopping is one of the favorites on my list and I hear this mall is something to call home about. | Wow, I'm kind of getting into this write a post once a week rut, but that happens to all of us sometimes. My life has really changed almost completely in the last couple weeks and it's actually a really good thing, because I get bored of the same thing over and over again. There's some really cool things happening and I'm just going along for the ride. Banana Republic is a lot of fun and it would be great if you want to visit me sometime. I'll even show you some of the sweet sales going on right now! I didn't really do anything too exciting for holloween except for a sweet party on Friday night, but hopefully all of you had a great one. | Wow, I've really been slacking off on this whole xanga thing! I'm sure you were thinking the same thing. Anyways, I've been pretty busy with things lately like... I just got a job at Banana Republic(don't worry, I'm not gay. I actually just got an incredible girlfriend and she has also been recieving a great deal of my time and attention lately, but I should probably end this parenthetical clause because it has been going on for quite some time), and I've also been doing some reading, studying, and practicing. I'm really enjoying the beautiful colors of the fall lately, although I'm a little dissapointed that it got cold really quick. I wish there was some middle ground. | Hey, It's been a while friends! There's a lot of news, but I don't think I can even tell you all of it. I'm just staying busy with music and hanging out with loved ones.
